Description:

Are you passionate about supporting students and ensuring that they have the best experience possible? We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and commitment to supporting our staff and students with a can-do attitude. As a Programme Administration Assistant, you will report to the Student Welfare and Engagement Officer, providing administration support with student records, placements, extenuating circumstances, assessments and student welfare.
This role will require an adaptable, dynamic and forward-thinking approach with excellent communication and organisational skills, strong IT skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with professional and academic staff, in order to provide an excellent level of service to students.
We are looking for candidates who will have a real commitment to the role and work methodically with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have the ability to prioritise your own workload and have a good track record of being able to problem solve and work on your own initiative within a fast-paced environment.
We’re one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK. The University’s Total Reward Package includes a competitive salary, a generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement, as well as access to a range of learning and development courses to support your personal and professional development.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
