Purpose & Scope:
We are Johnson Electric Research and Innovation, a multidisciplinary team of motivated professionals and students dedicated to advancing hydrogen technology. Our mission is to design and develop the next generation hydrogen compressor.
We are currently seeking a team member to support us in various areas, including:
1). expand the knowledge of metal hydrides principals as a compressor,
2). define the suitable materials for metal hydrides,
3). define the process parameters of manufacturing the metal hydrides,
4). define the material behaviors and criteria of metal hydrides
This role offers a blend of practical and theoretical assignments, along with opportunities for collaboration with research institutes and industry partners.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Investigate the feasibility of metal hydrides as a compressor in hydrogen industry
• Define the material behaviors of metal hydrides, such as performance, thermal dynamics, kinematics, pressure-temperature curves etc.
• Define the process parameters of how to manufacture the metal hydrides successfully
• Define the criteria of how to evaluate the performance of metal hydrides
• Independent cooperation with suppliers & colleagues, such as customer visit
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-oriented
• Good manner of managing documentation and reporting, e.g. Word, PPT, Excel
• Proactive attitude of working, good communications skills
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications, Education And/Or Experience

Education and/or Experience:

• University student of a technical program in Metallurgical Engineering

Qualifications:

• Metallurgical engineering is preferred
• Holding a PMP certificate is advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft office, technical knowledge with respect to material science
• Hands-on mentality, teamwork, open-minded, curious about new technologies

Language Skills:

• Must: Proficient both in German and in English (spoken and written)
• Advantage: Chinese

Work Environment:

• Hands-on work with building prototypes in the lab
• Office work
