WHAT WE NEED

The Suite Metering Data Analyst is responsible for monitoring, validating and correcting meter data to ensure that customer invoices can be processed correctly and in a timely manner.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced utility CIS skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

  • Advanced knowledge of MDM
  • Intermediate knowledge of utility billing process
  • Undergraduate diploma in Business Administration or Data Science/Analysis
  • 2+ years’ billing experience

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and validate metering data to ensure accuracy required for the customer billing process
  • Manage stale meters and ensure issues are rectified prior to the billing read date
  • Investigate read failures and correct issues either internally or by communicating with the vendor to have data corrected
  • Schedule service orders in the customer information system for Sensus system issues.
  • Identify and escalate issues that may have a customer impact
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to investigate customer complaints and provide information to management
  • Maintain tracking sheet of issues to keep internal stakeholders apprised of correspondence and data issues
  • Update account call notes to reflect customer concerns and close orders once investigations are complete
  • Monitor the rate of failed reads and ensure that KPI’s remain within the acceptable range
  • Update the system to reflect AMR to AMI transitions and verify that the new AMI is communicating correctly
  • Assist with documenting Suite Metering SOPs and keeping them current
  • Process commissioning sheets and other metering changes via an autoload template
  • Complete the project onboarding process through the utility portal
  • Perform rate set-ups for all new buildings
  • Update the new building tracker and the monthly building tracker with all new buildings and corresponding details
  • Review and respond to any utility building related emails

  • Responsible for maintaining accuracy of all suite meter changes.
