The State College Area School District’s Department of Federal Programs is currently accepting applications for the following lead teacher positions for summer school programming:

• Reading Intervention, Math Intervention, and Special Education Teachers

The District seeks dynamic, energetic educators who are student-focused and have knowledge of both theory and practice specific to the education of Pre-K-6 learners. Organizational and collaborative skills are critical to success in this position. The District is searching for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development and possess various professional experiences.

Champs Camp Intervention and Support Teachers

• Expected Dates: July 1, 2024 - July 25, 2024, plus pre-planning and training
• Job Duties: Planning, organizing, instructing, and supporting general and special education students with focused interventions based on student needs and/or IEP goals.
• Compensation - Current SCASD teachers receive their hourly rate. All others receive $37.00 per hour.
• Certification: Any of the various PA elementary, specialist, and/or special education certificates.
