Colliers has developed an industry-leading information source for the commercial real estate sector covering every significant office and industrial building across Canada.
We are looking for a curious, capable People Services/Talent intern to build knowledge and experience while assisting in and leading project work for the People Services team.
Who you are
As a People Services/ Talent Acquisition Intern, your role will support the Talent team at Colliers. Your job functions will include:

Talent Development

  • Assisting with administration and organization of Early Career Programs
  • Assist with communications that support Early Career Programs
  • Reporting: Ensuring accuracy and updates as needed for leadership meetings.
  • Additional project and administrative duties, as assigned.

Talent Acquisition

  • Support TA branding and marketing campaigns, by creating content for the Colliers social media channels
  • Work on special projects as focused on supporting the Talent Acquisition

What you bring

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited University, working towards a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Communications, Marketing or related field
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Experience creating social media content on different platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Tik Tok)
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Strong organizational skills to provide efficient and timely follow up to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and creative
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
  • Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to key stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint

Bonus skills and experience

  • Previous experience working within a real estate environment.
  • Experience working within a professional services environment.

What success looks like

  • You take initiative to support People Services team with administrative tasks in the execution of the overall people strategy and key continuous improvement initiatives
  • You partner with Colliers Talent teams and business stakeholders to actively manage a wide range of projects across Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, and People Services

Approximate Salary Range for Role: $16- $32
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
