Description:

SOFTWARE ENGINEER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Synopsys is seeking a creative, ambitious and talented engineer to fill a Test Automation for CI/CD Engineer internship role in the Prototyping team.


Key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test suites for our IIP Validation activity
  • Work closely with the IIP Validation Team, participating in the test definition
  • Monitor and report on the status of automated tests.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot test failures and issues.
  • Contribute to the improvement of CI/CD processes and practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and adhere to best coding practices.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Software Development Skills
  • Skills in Bash and/or Python scripting (plus)
  • Skills with revision control tools (Git, SVN or equivalent) (plus)
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Experience with test automation and continuous integration/delivery tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, etc. (plus)
  • Experience in Linux applications development (plus)
  • Experience in Linux administration (plus)
  • Experience with database technologies such as SQLite or MySQL (plus)
