As a Summer Intern – Test Automation Engineer, you will be part of our development team that work on the design, implementation, maintenance, and testing of patient monitors software. You will have access to world-class engineering facilities and be at the core of our mission to create advanced measurement technology for novel patient monitoring systems. JOB DESCRIPTION
Patient Care Solutions develops medical devices and technology that help sustain life, and support patient care in every setting throughout the hospital environment.
Our teams use every moment to provide clinicians and frontline caregivers with a variety of life-changing medical solutions in monitoring, diagnostic cardiology, acute care, anesthesia and respiratory care, and maternal and infant care.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3rd year or higher in Software Engineering or other relevant studies
- Experience with C/C++ and Python, and curiosity to new technologies
- Open and curious mindset, willing to approach the challenges in cutting-edge technology
- Natural self-starter with team-player attitude and ability to take ownership
- The language of the work is English
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Experience with automated testing frameworks like Robot Framework
- Experience with continuous integration and DevOps integration
- Experience with version control systems like Git and code review tools
- Interest in physiological patient monitoring and biomedical engineering
Responsibilities:
- Develop test automation solutions for patient monitor software in various areas like user interface software, communication protocols, networking, real time operating systems, cybersecurity, and many others
- Develop test platform and test scripts for software features
- Participate in the full software development cycle, including code development, reviews, testing, and documentation
- Follow and improve well-established principles for building robust and high-quality software products that are efficient, testable, and easy to maintain
- Be part of continuous improvements in tools and our ways of working for happier employees and customers
