JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

During the internship, the intern will be partnering with operation team and support daily operations to drive energy savings solutions within the service center. You will be responsible to develop a sustainable tracking system for the shop electricity consumption. Partner with the lean leader and lead the execution of one Kaizen in line with the shop lean strategy.
Provide Energy saving opportunities in coordination with engineering and operation team. Design and deploy a sustainable control system.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

  • 3rd, 4th year student or Graduate in various fields ( Mechanical/ Controls or Aerospace/Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Energy/EnvironmentalEngineering Majors)
  • Excellent oral and written expression in English.
  • Solid knowledge of Excel, Word & Power Points and digital platform creation techniques.
  • Exposure to using content management systems for digital applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Can-do attitude with a Strong sense of accountability as well as interdependence.
  • Basic knowledge of python, excel vba.
  • Knowledge of Reporting tools such as tableau, Power BI, SAP/ Pmx is a Strong plus
  • Fluency in English & Arabic

Responsibilities:

  • Be part of Plant Accessories & Controls Product Service team and partner with other engineering team to support customer technical issue resolution related to Power plant Gas/steam turbine accessories and controls systems during installation/commissioning or services support.
  • Responsible to design, develop and configure a digital solution for equipment maintenance tracking and scheduling.Create an efficient tool where metrics are represented visually.
  • Works closely with maintenance team to create the relevant digital platform and
  • Partner with subject matter experts to ensure availability of technologies and tools needed to create platform.
  • Analysis, reports & follow up related to Customer Experience Surveys and actions
  • Build Algorithms & Reports that enable analysis & follow up related to Best Running Fleet actions which target improvement in performance & reliability of the fleet
  • Data Clean up on Vendor master Data to avoid Term leakage and payment failure
  • Cleanup GRNI and drive process improvement on AP hold
  • Lead time confirmation and Updates In ERP
  • Work on DMS report preparing to be ready for review
  • Work with material team on consumable material delivery and process improvement
  • Knowledge management, Data collection
