JOB SUMMARY
As a summer student for our Equipment Specialist Departement at our Senneville (QC) location, you will supports the division and other areas of the company by managing the equipment to be used on studies.
In this role, primary responsibilities may include:
- Execute the verification, calibration, and maintenance of equipment.
- Support the management of requests for equipment or supplies for studies with minimal supervision.
- Report any problem or potential problems in the conduct of daily activities to the Supervisor or delegate.
- Offer service to the employees for the equipement used in the vivarium and/or laboratories.
- Control the entry and exit of material from the depot and perform basic maintenance and monitoring of the equipment.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:
- Student in a DEC or Bachelor’s degree
- Teamwork and collaborative spirit;
- Autonomy and attention to detail;
- Bilingual (English & French, Written)
- Physical work requiring lifting, moving loads and performing the majority of tasks while standing.
Responsibilities:
ROLE SPECIFIC INFORMATION:
- Location: 22022 Trans-Canada Hwy, Senneville, Quebec H9X 1C1
- Pay: Starting from $18 per hourSchedule: 37.5 per week
