JOB SUMMARY

As a Maintenance Clerk for our Toxicology team located in Senneville, you will be responsible for the well-being of our laboratory animals. Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and decontaminate animal rooms according to schedule
  • Ensure that the required study materials are available
  • Ensure adequate and accessible food and water supplies for all animals at all times
  • Handle the animals for any activity that requires it
  • Remove domestic and biomedical waste and dispose of in appropriate containers
  • Operate the cage washer

Responsibilities:

ROLE SPECIFIC INFORMATION:

  • Location: Senneville / Free parking / Shuttle service from Sainte-Anne-De-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site
  • Salary: $17.25/hrs
  • Premiums:
  • Weekends : $2.75/hrs
  • Overtime : Time and a half
  • Holidays: Double time
  • Daytime schedule from 8:00 am to 4:15 pm. Depending on the operational needs, you may have to work on weekends
  • Temporary position for the summer period, full-time at 37.5hrs per week
