UPWARD BOUND

Work Schedule: Six-week summer program with select training dates, before the summer program. This is a temporary Monday-Friday 8:30 am-2:30 pm, nonexempt position. This position is not eligible for benefits.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or working towards a Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and/or college. Teaching credentials are not required for preparation courses.
• Prior experience in teaching high school students. The incumbent must also demonstrate an interest or ability to work in a multicultural/multiethnic environment.
  Fingerprinting will be taken and checked by the California Department of Justice and FBI. Incumbent responsible for fingerprinting fee. A completed UAS employment application is required. Review of applications/resumes will begin on February 26, 2024, and will continue until the position is filled; however, the position may close when an adequate number of qualified applications/resumes are received. A cover letter and resume are required.
