Role:
We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic summer trainee to join our New Product Development team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the product engineering, development documentation and product analysis related to sustainability tasks.
The role will also involve supporting R&D lead design engineer with various product and packaging tasks.
You are expected to be able to utilize your skills in different with limited supervision or instruction.
You will work with a cross functional team including R&D, quality, and supply chain.

Responsibilities:

  • With supervision, using 3D CAD modeling, designing products that meet the objective of the project proposal.
  • Develop documentation that defines the performance requirements for the product.
  • Conducting product analysis related to sustainability tasks using existing tools.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate B. Sc or M. Sc in Engineering
  • Good in mechanical design tasks
  • Good knowledge of plastic and metal parts manufacturing technologies
  • Excellent in 3D CAD design (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Fluent communication skills in both spoken and written English
  • Able to commit to working for 15-17 weeks during summer 2024 (May-August)
