About the role

The Suncorp Migration Lead role will be responsible for planning and ultimate delivery, of the Retail and Commercial customer migration from Suncorp Bank to ANZ. As a key Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring we can delivery on the multi-year, end to end migration pathways for all Suncorp customers to target-state propositions within ANZ Plus and ANZ.
The Suncorp Migration Lead role is part of the Migration Program delivery team, responsible for how the ultimately deliver the future Suncorp customer migration pathways, working closely with your peers (who are tasked with delivering migration prerequisites across customer and business readiness, technical migration services, foundational features and future state landing pads) to ensure these migration capabilities can be reused and delivered in order to meet Galileo’s strategy, objectives and timeframes.
You will also play a key leadership role on the Galileo program, creating a leadership voice and prioritisation on all customer-migration related activities in Retail and Commercial, in time, working directly with the Suncorp lines of business directly to ensure migration readiness.
This is a key influencing and delivery role, you will also play a critical role in collaborating with partners across Retail and Commercial Divisions, ANZx, Group Technology and enterprise-wide migration enablement partners, and ensuring senior leadership is involved and engaged in the migration aspirations.
Your key accountabilities in this role
Working with Migration Strategy Lead, provide input into the broader ANZ migration strategy and roadmaps, ensuring pathways for all Suncorp Bank customer cohorts (including those that do not migrate to ANZ), alignment with the Galileo program objectives and timeframes, and considers the broader Galileo implications from a legal, regulatory and Queensland commitments perspective
Together with ANZ Retail & Commercial and Migration Workstream Leads, determine the critical paths for how and when each Suncorp Bank customer cohort is migrated to ANZ, what the sequencing is, and appropriate future state proposition.
Together with Suncorp product leads and ANZ Migration Program, determine product simplification and harmonisation strategy for each Suncorp product to enable migration, and timing of Suncorp Bank front book closure
Work with Migration Assurance Lead and Risk to anticipate potential risks or limitations with migration approach and determine pathway to resolve or mitigate risks
Act as a key liaison for Suncorp migration activities between ANZ Migration Program, ANZ Board/ExCo, and other key stakeholders both internally and externally

About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring the following:
Proven expertise in formulating and articulating clear and actionable strategies (inc. KPIs), aligning them with organisational objectives and guiding the program’s direction to drive long-term success
Previous experience with large scale customer migrations for financial services organisations or banks, or other relevant M&A
Commercial acumen, experience working closely with operations, finance and legal
Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive plans, prioritise tasks and allocate resources efficiently
Possess in-depth subject matter expertise in relevant domains, enabling informed decision-making and ensuring alignment with industry best practices
Proven expertise in developing change management strategies
Skilled in identifying, analysing and mitigating program risks
Adept at envisioning and communicating a compelling and future-oriented vision for the program
Strong verbal and written communication skills for preparing and presenting papers to Board and executives for decision-making and information
Demonstrated experience working closely with senior stakeholders both internally and externally (boards and regulators)
The ability to lead and motivate others, anchoring your approach in ANZ’s values and leadership behaviours.
