FINDING BETTER WAYS TO PROVIDE THE MATERIALS THE WORLD NEEDS.
We are looking for an experienced Data Management professional to lead a team within the Resource Development division, based in Perth CBD. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team that develops orebody knowledge and is finding better ways to enhance value across the business.
We will support and empower you to challenge yourself, learn from others, share your own ideas freely and achieve excellence in technical and leadership outcomes. You’ll manage your own team and work with key stakeholders across Operations and Technical Support.
Reporting to the Manager Data Management and working from Perth, Central Park you will be required to have availability to travel to site on an ad hoc basis, and in addition responsible for:
- Foster a positive, productive team culture and develop your team’s capabilities
- Establish effective relationships, networks, and routines with internal and external business partners including the Rio Tinto IS&T and Digital teams
- Prioritise Resource Development system projects
- Work with your team to improve our systems and workflows
- Help partners understand data systems, access data and establish and improve workflows
- Work with your Superintendent peer and the Resource Development team to design and implement the Resource Development Data Management Strategy
- Ensure Resource Development functions adhere to best practices and guidelines when implementing information systems, processes, practices and solutions
