About Ernest Henry
Ernest Henry is world-class copper-gold operation which utilises the innovative sub-level caving extraction method. It is located near Cloncurry in north-west Queensland, operating on the traditional lands of the Mitakoodi people. About the role
Reporting to the Manager - Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and cost control of mobile plant, for the safe and efficient operation of mining activities. Other responsibilities include:
Providing strategic input to long-term capacity planning, innovative use of technologies, and the application of contemporary maintenance management methodologies and best practices.
Purchasing and maintaining the EHO Mobile fleet for both surface and underground activities.
Providing leadership and direction to both the surface and underground maintenance teams and workshops.
Managing the mobile fleet contracts
This a residential only role based in Cloncurry with a 5/2 – 4/3 roster. We offer relocation, a vehicle, housing and cover your utilities + you will also receive a local living allowance.
If you reside in Mt Isa, this role is also available on a DIDO 5/2 – 4/3 roster + a travel allowance.
About You
To excel in this role, you will possess a tertiary qualification in a maintenance related field and a background working in a similar senior leadership roles within the mining industry. You will have a proven track record in strategic planning, project management, and leading and inspiring teams. Your expertise in maintenance management methodologies and best practices, coupled with your extensive knowledge of mobile plant, will be crucial to your success.
