KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Stakeholder collaboration to define business and systems requirements for new information technologies, relating to Business Intelligence (BI), analytics, planning and Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW).
  • Ensuring the efficient utilisation of data resources across different business units.
  • Oversee reports, dashboards, and information artifacts to reduce redundant processes and reports.
  • Developing maintenance schedules for BI and EDW systems.
  • Being the Service Owner for Anaplan, Data warehouse and Reporting application solutions.
  • Coordinating the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of BI/EDW systems, including data architecture, data integration, high availability, security, and data privacy.
  • Defining the short and long-term strategies for the corporate BI program to effectively deliver current and future requirements.
  • Analysing existing operations and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the Planning/Reporting/Analytics architecture.
  • Conducting research and remain current with the latest data technologies and solutions in support of future data management procurement efforts.
  • Manage operations staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions across multiple global locations.
  • Ensuring change management practices conform to organisational standards.

YOUR CHARACTERISTICS, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Technology, Mining, Engineering or a related field.
  • Quality written and in-person communications.
  • Knowledge of Australian specific planning for the minerals and mining industry.
  • Builder of internal relationships across a broad cross section of the business.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of organisational projects and operational demands.
