Hays Recruitment are looking for an experienced Civil Works Supervisor to support an eastern metropolitan Local Government for a 6 month duration on a temporary assignment.

YOUR NEW ROLE

Reporting to the Coordinator Civil Works, you will be responsible for overseeing contractors and supervising staff on all aspects of road construction, maintenance and associated operations. Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Planning, organisation and supervision of works in accordance with the works programmes and budgets
• Liaison with Supervisors and Team Leaders in planning of day to day operations
• Provide providing expert advice and technical support to staff and contractors
• Working with the Coordinator Civil Works to scope, plan and investigate future projects

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Demonstrated experience in road construction and other areas of civil
• Current WA C Class driver’s license
• Construction Safety ‘White’ Car
