DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for the efficient functioning of sleep clinics at multiple locations, the scheduling of technical sleep studies, and all sleep program billing and medical records including transcription. Maintains provider schedules Supervises over 25 staff. Directs and schedules clerical and back office staff, assigns specific tasks and responsibilities and sets priorities. Performs diversified administrative duties. Does back-up transcription and clean-up requiring specialized sleep medicine knowledge. Maintains excellent customer service. In short, managerial responsibilities without budgetary or hiring/ firing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Further post-high school education in relevant disciplines
• 5 years in a customer service environment and extensive computer usage/experience
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Transcription experience
