The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for daily operations, personnel management and technical expertise of the laboratory section. Provides accurate, timely and cost effective service to all laboratory customers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree Medical Technology.
• upon hire: National Certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or
• upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Medical Technologists. Or
• upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists. Or
• upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Association of Bioanalysts. Or
• upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts. Or
• upon hire: National Laboratory Tech - United States Government.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Coursework/Training Specialized training/education in Blood Bank (SBB) for Transfusion Services Section.
• upon hire: SBB (for Transfusion Services supervisor).
• Previous supervisory experience.
