Job Description
Bring your passion for food and beverage service to Brisbane’s largest conferencing and events operation. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor in the Conference and Events Operations department, you will supervise your team to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Assist in leading, mentoring and training the Conference and Events Operations team
  • Supervise events, liaise with clients and delegate duties to team members
  • Liaise with the kitchen to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal is maintained
  • Ensure guest expectations are met in each event, delivering a service that exudes luxury and aligns with Sofitel brand standards
  • Promote a strong Heartist culture and a team that is focused on providing unforgettable experiences to our guests.
    Qualifications

YOU WILL EXCEL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

  • A luxury service focused personality
  • Functions experience in a large hospitality events operation
  • Experience in leading a team and supervising others
  • Ability to work rotating roster, with the occasional late night or overnight shift
  • A real passion for everything food and beverage
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities accordingly
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification
  • A high level of personal presentation
  • Team spirit and positivity, with the ability to work efficiently.
