Supervisor Drill & Blast

This role is a Permanent position on a day shift even time sportsman’s roster, DIDO to our Boddington Bauxite Mine, which is located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).
As the Supervisor Drill & Blast, you will be responsible for leading and navigating frontline drill and blast personnel to achieve the mine plan in accordance with safety, environmental and cost parameters.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Ensure drill & blast activities are conducted safely by competent and authorised personnel in accordance with standards and operating procedures
• Perform workplace and equipment inspections to ensure ongoing safety, reliability and compliance
• Provide supervision and support to direct reports and deliver effective Contractor Management
• Provide timely and accurate inputs to mine planning, then monitor plan and targets and identify/report on any variances
