Description:

An exciting opportunity exists as a Supervisor Food Services, improving the patient’s experience is the focus of your daily tasks, both directly and indirectly. You will take pride in the high quality and nutritional food and beverage service that you and your team provide and coordinate workflow effectively to deliver meals on time to patients.
As a Supervisor, you will enable your team through clear direction and support, providing on the job assistance, feedback and be a role model for others.
Operational Support Services includes the Food Service and Environmental Service. Food Services is specifically responsible for the production and delivery of meals including menu planning and management, the preparation of patient meals, restocking of inpatient unit pantries and beverage bays throughout Nambour Hospital.

Responsibilities:

  • Comply with and implement the SCUH Food Safety Program ensuring this is understood and applied by Patient Support Assistants.
  • Coordinate and supervisor scheduled and unscheduled cleaning in accordance with Food Service specifications and procedures ensuring food service staff maintain a clean and safe environment and personal hygiene standards.
  • Prioritise workloads and organise replacement staff due to short term emergent leave (e.g., sick leave).
    Remuneration value up to $78,332 p.a., comprising salary between $65,497 - $68,654 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (OO3).
