The opportunity:
Reporting into one of the Contracting Division Projects Managers, we have an exciting role for an experienced and enthusiastic Supervisor to join our tight knit team to help in delivering the good work Fulton Hogan is known for.

In addition to the above you will:

  • Be responsible for the people management and coordination of crews on a daily basis
  • Planning jobs & projects they need to attend, arranging traffic management, materials and plant
  • Ensuring teams comply with the safety, environmental, quality and other corporate policies and achieving agreed financial outcomes for the roading, earthworks, stormwater and drainage related projects delivered within the Contracting Division.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure Works (Pipeline Construction and Maintenance) (Level 4) with strands in Earthworks, Road Construction, and Road Maintenance as a minimum.
  • Experience within a roading/capital works contracting environment
  • Experience in developing staff skills to provide career pathways and improve operational effectiveness and efficiency
  • Promote and champion a safe working environment for yourself and your team members
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of drawings and specifications
  • Great organisational skills
