Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part Time C-Store/Gas Bar Supervisor at our C-Store and Gas Bar location in Choiceland, SK.

WHO YOU ARE:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:
- You have grade 12 or a combination of relevant experience; 5+ years of retail sales experience in a supervisory role, especially in the Cooperative Retailing System (CRS) is preferred
- You have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to successfully motivate and work with team members
- You have experience with C-store/Gas Bar operations, Ag and Farm hardware, Feed, Lubricants, and general merchandise items
- You are attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do
- You’re well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision
- You have the ability to fulfill the physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20-25 lbs regularly
- You must be willing to obtain WHMIS and propane dispensing certifications
- You have a flexible work schedule; evening and weekend work is required

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
- Provide Legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels
- Complete of daily reports including pumps, lottery and diligence reconciliations
- Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies and procedures
- Have familiarity with all store operations and supervise the operational team in their daily duties, as assigned
- Maintain a clean and well merchandised area including but not limited to dusting displays, washing shelves, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and performing exterior cleaning as needed
- Provide training to gas bar clerks for all store duties and for opening and closing procedures
- Be familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies such as selling of age restricted items and all government regulations relating to tobacco, lottery, fireworks and ammunition
- Maintain feed sales log according to government standards
- Operate electronic point of sale and other electronic devices to process sales and payments
- Order, receive, price merchandise, and be responsible for store inventory
- Complete all necessary daily reports as required including daily cash up and reconciliation, JDE batch posting and bank preparation
- Support and follow the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures and train gas bar clerks accordingly
- Maintain and report Canadian Cattle Identification Agency (CCIA) Tags
- Build hydraulic hoses and teach others
- Perform other duties as assigned
