Description:

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our Outbound team, working a staggered shift pattern on 37.5 hours per week:
Monday 12:45 - 10pm
Tuesday to Thursday 1:45 - 10pm
Friday 3pm - 10pm
Salary up to £38k depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for improving and maintaining a fast, high quality and cost effective outbound processes for products and meeting all relevant team and individual KPIs in line with our OGSMs
  • Continually look to learn from best practice within and outside of Kramp and translate this into a clear action plan for the team
  • Ensure one team culture within logistics and other teams within Kramp UK as well as support the other Outbound supervisors as and when required
  • Manage the day to day running of the team ensuring that customer orders are met, maximizing efficiency and quality
  • Ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, all vehicles are loaded safely and correctly. All stock is claimed and put away in line with KPIs
  • Work closely with the Senior Supervisor in setting daily and weekly targets and ensuring these are met
  • Communicate clear work instructions effectively to the team and carry out daily or weekly stand ups as required
  • Motivate and focus staff to achieve throughput and quality targets Implement “Right first time” quality assurance to improve and maintain our high level of service to our customers.
  • Monitor staff working hours and manage attendance effectively and in line with our policies.
  • Identify and report staff training requirements, coach and develop staff.
  • Manage training requirements (including Health and Safety) to ensure people can work across all areas within Logistics to help us manage absence and busy periods
  • Provide leadership and operate as a role model, offering mentoring, training and motivating small teams of logistics operators
  • Implement company procedures, ensuring that best practices are observed and safe systems of work are being followed
  • Ensure that good housekeeping and 5S is in place and sustained Co-ordinate resources with Senior supervisor to ensure work is addressed in a safe and timely manner
  • Create a positive and engaging working environment. Proactively raise operational issues in a timely manner
  • Support the Senior supervisor with new initiatives
  • Appraise and manage performance, capability and conduct
