Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for Supervisor Mine Water Management to join our Mine Operations team at Hope Downs 4. You’ll be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support to your team, with the aim of driving consistent performance and innovation in relation to safety, cost and production.
You’ll be part of a friendly team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. Working on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, this is a great opportunity to grow your career whilst balancing your time on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.

Reporting to the Superintendent Mine Water Management, you will:

  • Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive respectful behaviours, practices, and processes, whilst providing leadership, development, and support to your team
  • Complete daily inspections of all work areas and regular on the job interactions with the team to harness a safe and efficient work culture
  • Regularly review the dewatering/water management network and performance to ensure the daily mine water management operations meet mine plan.
  • Oversee and utilise the work management system to plan, prioritise, and execute tasks required to operate and maintain the water management network, including adherence to dewatering targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects, identifying opportunities for improvement in maintaining and operating dewatering infrastructure
