QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have solid understanding and experience of the freight industry (ideally chilled/frozen transport).
• Must have solid experience in operations Supervision of a medium sized and dynamic freight/logistics operation.
• Must be customer and service delivery focused, with the ability to motivate staff in the same direction.
• Must have a can-do, practical and positive personality.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Good knowledge and ability to operate Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Understand the Ibright GPS solution.

OUR TEAM PLAYS A CRITICAL ROLE IN ENSURING THE EFFICIENT AND TIMELY DELIVERY OF OUR PRODUCTS, AND WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING A DEDICATED AND EXPERIENCED SHIFT SUPERVISOR TO JOIN OUR DYNAMIC TEAM.

Please note that this is an afternoon/ night time shift starting at 2pm in the afternoon and finishing around midnight.
Job Description:
As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the depot operations. You will supervise a team working on the required shift, coordinate with various departments, and ensure on time departures and freight is directed on time to the correct destinations at the required temperatures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the team.
• Plan and monitor inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipment and delivery of products.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits.
• Implement and maintain policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
