THE COMPANY
B2Gold is a low-cost international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, a mine under construction in northern Canada and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland. B2Gold forecasts total consolidated gold production of between 860,000 and 940,000 ounces in 2024.
DESIRED COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Five (5) years of relevant warehouse experience with two (2) years of previous supervisory experience, preference will be given to those with experience working in a remote site with limited access to resources;
- Post-secondary education in Industrial Operations, Transportation & Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Management;
- A Nunavut WSCC Supervisory Level II qualifications, or ability to obtain same; and
- Valid Driver’s license required, and Forklift Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, inventory management, and distribution of materials and equipment;
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize workflow and minimize errors;
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to fulfill internal orders in a timely manner, ensuring that the right materials are available when needed;
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse layout and storage systems to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access to materials;
- Lead warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure team productivity and adherence to company policies;
- Verify material shipping records for accuracy, resolve material handling questions and concerns of shipping shortages and/or material overages, including addressing any issues/problems with warehouse inventory control;
- Ensure security of stored supplies, adherence to warehousing procedures, requirements for drawing-up and turning-in of issue/receipt documentation; and
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for warehouse staff, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to safety regulations.
