YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Due to upcoming projects, Whittens are currently seeking expressions of Interest from Supervisors /Senior Supervisors with a background in concrete scopes who have a genuine interest to positively influence construction crews and promote a memorable culture.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, your overall responsibility is to provide onsite leadership coordination and oversite of the construction workforce including direct labour, subcontractors, and plant, ensuring all construction works are executed safely, efficiently, and effectively meeting client, HSE, quality, time, budget, and contractual requirements. This role will be on a 2/1 FIFO roster to our project sites in WA.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Project management to champion a culture of high performance onsite
  • Demonstrating strong and visible leadership skills through your behaviours, effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Providing input into the manning schedule to ensure adequately skilled and qualified candidates are planned for the project and take lead on the technical aspects of the job requirements during interviews
  • Proactively manage employee performance and conduct thorough performance discussions
  • Supporting the Project Manager and Construction Manager in the design and delivery of work program(s), including participation in weekly reviews Plan construction works and activities
  • Ensuring agreed work program requirements are met for each component of the project and report variances to Project Manager
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the Contract to ensure ongoing compliance with the scope of work, specifications, drawings and subcontracts
