Responsibilities:
- Executes the day-to-day operations of the Information Management Division (IMD) Customer Support Branch to ensure specific needs of the customers are met in a timely manner and according to service level agreements and operational directions.
- Oversees all Information Management Division (IMD) Customer Support Branch activities, as well as monitor, evaluate and ensure compliance with established and approved workflow processes.
- Assigns work to team members, giving instructions as required, and reviews quality of work in progress.
- Provides guidance to ensure conformance with approved plans, program objectives, and policies and to ensure efficient use of assets.
- Directly supervises a mix of twenty-three (23) GS-09/11/12 government employees.
- Develops/reviews hardware and supporting software as well as alternatives to meet Information Management Division (IMD) information system requirements for the European Theatre.
- Provides technical and administrative support to network engineers and system administrators throughout Europe, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC), and Tenant units to establish and maintain customer support handling procedures.
- Represents the Branch in walk-through and projects at the organizational Level.
- Performs supervisory duties as delegated by the Information Management Division (IMD) Chief Information Officer (CIO)/Deputy Director and acts as the Information Management Division (IMD) Customer Support Branch Director in the Directors absence.
