QUALIFICATIONS

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience: experience coordinating supply support operations; providing technical and administrative advice to maintain and improve logistics support; reviewing performance of supported installations and activities for technical proficiency, consistency and compliance with policies, procedures, and directives related to supply support operations; and resolving conflicts, resolving supply support operations policy and procedural issues raised by installations and activities.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and staff level oversight to civilian, military and local national employees who are responsible for integrating supply and service activities.
  • Determine and program all necessary actions to plan, establish and developoverall logistics criteria and ensure allocation and proper use of prescribed resources.
  • Disseminate new supply policy, procedures and directives received fromASC to appropriate subordinate staff.
  • Resolve policy and procedural issues raised by installations and activities.
  • Provide oversight of planning for organization within assigned AOS, by analyzing mission assignments, establishing program objectives and developing current and long-range plans andgoals for accomplishment of assigned functions.
  • Exercise personnel management responsibilities through direct supervision of military and /orcivilian personnel and oversight of contractor personnel.
  • Perform supply planning, manning, and resource management reviews to support reportingrequirements of the Brigade and HQ ASC.
