• Qualifying suppliers (conducting process audits and following-up on agreed actions)
• Supporting supplier development
• Managing supplier non-conformities for McPhy (i.e 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa method)
• Supporting the sourcing team in the claim management process and supplier evaluation process
• Support of Engineering and Design teams, identifying key criteria and characteristics (Critical to Quality) for supplied products
• Participating in all relevant supplier activities and controls of the projects (Inspections and Test Plans, First Article Inspections, expediting, etc)
• Coordinating and following First Article Inspections induced by the supplier process changes
• Supporting First Article Inspections induced by McPhy Engineering/R&D process changes
• Supervising the Quality audits on supplier premises with our customers
• Organizing and executing supplier visits and audits, based on defect frequencies and criticalities
