Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Supplier Quality Specialist (Associate or Experienced) to join our Aircraft Modification and Modernization team in Oklahoma City, OK.
This site operates with a 9/80 work schedule!
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 1+ year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Lync or Teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 1+ years of Supply Chain experience
- 1+ years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
- 1+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Experience managing and organizing multiple deliverables and deadlines with minimal direction
TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate +2 years’ related work, Bachelor, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Reviews supplier statements of work and purchase contracts to determine the applicable quality requirements for suppliers
- Liaise with supplier management on purchase contracts
- Monitors supplier quality related activities and reports issues
- Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements in Receiving Inspection
- Supports internal audits of supplier quality processes
- Participate in root cause correct actions
- Resolves routine issues and concerns
- Coordinates and supports process improvements
- Works under general supervision
- A team player, able to work in collaborative environment
