QUALIFICATIONS

  • Qualified auditor to IATF 16949
  • Auditing qualifications (e.g. ISO 9001, VDA 6.3, IATF 16949:2016)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Trained on process audit methodology (e.g. VDA 6.3)
  • Trained on process audit methodology (e.g. VDA 6.3)
  • Understanding of problem solving tools (8D, Ishikawaka, 5Why, 5W1H)
  • Understanding of Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
  • Knowledge of Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans)
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Process audit experience
  • Good understanding of calibration reports
  • Excellent organisational skills to support management of documentation system and site QMS.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the establishment of risk criteria for supply base and ensuring those risks are evaluated, monitored and actions arising from those processes are properly managed according to internal procedures and best practices
  • Perform process audit on suppliers as part of risk management process. Follow up on actions if any issues are raised.
  • Handle supplier issues through management of containment, root cause investigation and corrective action using standard tools (e.g. 8D).
  • Review supplier PPAPs and support validation checks on production line.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure required equipment is calibrated according to schedule and operational procedures.
  • Ensure risks related with out of calibration or failed calibration equipment are identified and escalated to the Site Quality Manager for action.
  • Support the review of corresponding process of responsibility (Calibration and Supplier).
  • Provide training to operational teams on calibration process.
  • Manage documentation system with internal and external stakeholders while supporting transition to an electronic system automated system.
