EDUCATION

  • Third Level qualification in a relevant discipline would be advantageous. Significant direct experience highly desirable.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

  • Able to demonstrate a high level of understanding of the purchase to pay process.
  • Strong user experience on Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Advanced analytical skills and high attention to detail essential.
  • Good understanding of operational links between material planning, warehousing and invoicing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience administrating large volumes of data.
  • Previous experience of using ERP system, preferrable SAP, would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience of using VIM systems.
  • Comfortable presenting data at all levels within the organization.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Administration of PO’s for direct materials in support of the supply chain planners.
  • Provide regular reporting on critical material planning aspects such as spend analysis, supplier performance, overdue PO’s etc.
  • Act as link between planning and WH team to address discrepancies and support the tiered meeting process. Receiving enquiries.
  • Support supply chain direct material planning with the management of planning attributes in the SAP system.
  • Support supply chain direct material planning with cross functional periodic reviews to agree and establish material re-order points, safety stocks and supplier lead times.
  • Mange the accurate and timely processing of Purchase Invoices.
  • Respond to all supplier payment queries within a timely fashion.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any payment-related issues.
  • Must be able to implement and manage KPI reporting and adherence and implement corrective action plans to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Act as the site SME for WuXi’s Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) system. Ensure transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage master data requirements for VIM and support any related system development or cross site implementations.
  • Support the maintenance of SOP’s, training and internal and external audits.
  • Ability to identify process improvements and work with team to implement.
  • Will actively promote the ethos of “all one team” in adherence to the Supply Chain and local site commitments/behaviours.
  • Flexibility to take on additional tasks and responsibilities at the discretion of the Supply Chain Planning Lead.
