Supply Chain Clerk

Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking an Inventory Clerk. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible to manage orders to facilitate sales or production and keep track of goods and services. As the Inventory Clerk you will be placing orders for more inventory according to demand, signing off on shipments, and counting the number of available products. This is the Inventory Clerk position for you if you are a detailed oriented inventory detail oriented with excellent math and communication skills!

How you will make an impact

• Spending time collaborating with the inventory analyst and purchasing manager
• Counting and classifying items
• Catalog and stock products to manage inventory
• Managing document discrepancies
• Collecting estimates and price details from vendors and then comparing costs
• Ensure physical counts and computer records match, calling out any discrepancies
• Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers and securing shipment arrival times
• Performing data entry
• Must be skilled at problem solving and have a good attention to detail
• Must have strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Must have an understanding of the range of services and products offered by the company
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
• A minimum of a HS Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years’ experience in retail and/or inventory sector is preferred
• Experience using inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets
