Location: Birmingham (B24 8DW) Office Based.
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the tracking and scheduling of all inbound freight into the EU DC, along with this they are also responsible for monitoring outbound shipments to all UK & EU stores / concessions and to arrange stock transfers and store closures.
• The main task is to schedule all inbound shipments into the DC, this will include running daily in transit and exception reports, raising delivery manifests, scheduling deliveries, working with domestic suppliers to book in deliveries and any other tasks associated to inbound freight.
• The coordinator is also responsible for stock transfers between stores, arranging store closures and other ad hoc export duties including arranging new store and concession despatches when the operations manager is not in the office.
• Having direct contact with the customer, vendors, suppliers, and departments onsite.
