JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Developing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining high level view of our current supply chain strengths, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Handling all correspondence and negotiations with suppliers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  • Optimize transportation routes to reduce lead times and transportation costs.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or diploma in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Attentive to detail, organized, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Valid Class 5 license and reliable transportation
  • Available to work Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday
  • Minimum 40 hours per week, must be flexible and willing to work overtime
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Local or willing to relocate to Central Alberta
