Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Due to an internal promotion, we are currently seeking our new Supply Chain Coordinator to provide support within our customer service, order administration, production and warehouse support functions. The role will be based at our King’s Park facility in Sydney and is pivotal the smooth and successful running of our chemical services division.
The role is fast paced and diverse and includes a blend of customer contact and back of house activities that will materially contribute to lean, efficient and successful supply chain operations that create positive brand credibility.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Day to day order taking/entry and invoicing, monitoring client communications and responding to enquiries in a timely fashion.
  • Assist the supply chain analyst to ensure stock and freight is scheduled and allocated according to customer demand and location.
  • Actively engage with customers and account managers to understand the operations in detail. Build relationships on the phone and in person. Document and utilise this experience for best practice and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide support to the broader supply chain team as required.
  • Ensure relevant SOP documents are in place, accurate and maintained.
  • Providing solutions to order management, manufacturing, QA, andwarehousing challenges.
  • Liaise and support the finance team, assist with end of month transactions.
  • Manage and book freight movements within company’s network to ensure freight is located logically and in good time according to customer demand and location.
  • Manage Inventory accuracy working closely with warehouse and 3PLs to conduct regular cycle count and stock takes.
