Description:
FORECASTING / LOCAL DEMAND REVIEW
- Set up and lead monthly local demand planning process as part of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process including managing internal consensus forecasting exercise liaising with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory & Medical and is responsible for challenging forecast.
- Enter forecasts into the forecasting system, in accordance with an agreed timetable.
- Communicate to Global Supply Chain key assumptions behind forecast and drivers of sales forecast errors via the defined supply chain tool
- Define and implement an action plan for sales forecast performance improvement.
CONTRIBUTE TO SUPPLY CHAIN PROCESS OPTIMIZATION (GLOBAL/LOCAL)
- Communicate, to Global Supply Chain, local events that might disturb market demand and distribution network.
- Participate in all discussions/projects implicating local supply chain expertise and collaborate in any Supply Chain improvement initiative.
- Communicate at the country level about global Supply Chain projects to ensure consistency across the organization.
- Prepare supply chain SOPs, including seeking/incorporating feedback from all relevant stakeholders.
- Be involved in product issues management and relevant audits.
- Monitor costs related to Supply activities (transport costs, logistic service provider fees) and review credit notes/commissions related to Supply
Education / Certifications:
- Accredited Higher education Logistics/Supply Chain Qualification.
- APICS CPIM Part 1 is a plus.
- Engineering degree and Bachelor of Commerce will be highly regarded.
Experience:
- Experience with a logistics/ supply chain operation in life science.
- Experience in cross-functional work with sales/marketing organizations
- Knowledge of Colombia’s importation, supply, and distribution specificities
- Experience or Knowledge of Quality is a plus.
- Experience with active management and implementation of SOPs
- Experience in a multinational environment
Languages:
Fluent English is compulsory.
