MARKET PLANNING

• Manage, direct and coordinate the Market planning team to optimize efforts in meeting departmental goals
• Translate business strategy to supply chain strategy, partner with global Demand and Supply Team
• Lead and control all Demand activities to ensure cost effectiveness and agreed service levels are maintained
• Own all demand planning tasks from launch to discontinuation, incl. launch sizing, promo planning, PIPO management and non-saleable
• Ensure forecast is using historical data, statistical forecasting and market insights and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool (JDA).
• Track forecast accuracy and fulfilment levels, root-cause variances and develop action plans

S&OP

• Lead the digital transformation of our Demand and S&OP processes in close collaboration with the global teams
• Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans across Asia with supply planning for optimal fill rates.
• Work with Initiative and Marketing groups to determine timelines for the collection of promotional and new brand (or new SKU) forecasts. Coordinate and collaborate in Pre-S&OP meetings.
• Review existing processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency or effectiveness
• Lead monthly S&OP process for the Region with the multifunctional Team split between Singapore, Shanghai, Mumbai and Sydney
• Monitor and evaluate KPI’s such as fill rate, forecast accuracy and alignment with financial plans. The process includes identifying gaps, recommending and implementing actions to improve performance in key areas.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years’ experience in supply chain management and associated functions at a senior level
• Relevant industry experience with knowledge of mass/consumer sector
• Strong technical knowledge and an understanding of Travel Retail markets is helpful
• Relevant tertiary level qualifications in Business/Supply Chain/Logistics
• Experience managing key stakeholders, great written and communication skills
• Advanced user of Excel and ERP/business systems ideally SAP
