JOB DESCRIPTION

The Supply Chain Responsibility (SCR) team has an opening for a Supply Chain Engineer to work across multiple strategic focus areas. We are seeking an experienced professional who is committed to ensuring Intel is a leader in supply chain responsibility. The Global Supply Chain Organization focuses on developing and executing sourcing strategies which provide Intel with a competitive advantage by maintaining appropriate tension and balance between cost, quality, availability, technology, and sustainability. The Supply Chain Responsibility (SCR) organization within GSCO drives Intel’s supply chain engagement to drive our human rights commitment and responsible mineral sourcing, deliver our goals for Net Zero, green chemistry, chemical regulatory, circularity, and supplier diversity and Inclusion across all of Intel’s sourcing organizations. Your role will be key in helping the team achieve Intel’s RISE 2030 goal and adhere to our commitment to the Responsible Business Alliance code of conduct for both Intel and our supply chain.

Responsibilities for this role will range from managing Intel’s annual required assessment and audit deliverables for suppliers to participating in and contributing to multiple internal and external working groups. Providing critical analysis of information and data, assessing risk, highlighting gaps and identifying issues for resolution is a critical aspect of the work. Success will be dependent upon excellent collaboration across Intel, suppliers, stakeholders, and industry groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports management/senior leadership to incorporate process and quality improvements in Intel’s supply chain responsibility strategy.
  • Explores and benchmarks emerging developments in the industry.
  • Contributes to Intel’s future supply chain responsibility definition and requirements.
  • Establishes control standards, determines KPIs, and monitors performance against targets for supply chain responsibility programs.
  • Manages internal and external collaborations on supply chain responsibility topics.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum skills and experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Management, Engineering or another related field of study with 8+ years of Semiconductor or Supply Chain experience

OR

  • A Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field with 4+ years of Semiconductor or Supply Chain experience

Preferred skills and experience:
