Description:
REQUIREMENT
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement/Supply Chain or equivalent/relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience and relevant certification from CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, and CSSBB.
- Ideally 3-5 years professional experience as purchaser or similar position in an Aerospace MRO environment.
- Good negotiation, analysis and decision making skills.
- Strong IT and data analytics skill.
- Able to work with minimum supervision and in varying teams across domains and departments.
- Good comprehension and analytical skills to provide solutions and insights to various stakeholder’s strategic decisions.
- Willing/able to travel at short notice and work outside office hours whenever necessary.
- Proficiency in suite of MS Office software and able to make presentation to the audience.Good positive work attitude, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting ongoing assessments of supplier and service provider performance, actively engaging in audits, and instituting necessary corrective measures.
- Overseeing and enhancing supply chain performance metrics such as quality, cost, and delivery, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining an uninterrupted supply flow.
- Leading the decision-making process regarding in-house production versus outsourcing, and managing the selection of suppliers/sources; contributing to the creation, scrutiny, and sanctioning of specifications for bidding and contract awards.Orchestrating and maintaining supplier interactions, managing performance, and handling claims, with a focus on key and bottleneck suppliers.
- Entering into negotiations with suppliers regarding contracts and pricing.
- Probing and appraising prospective capabilities and sourcing avenues; conducting vendor sourcing and supplier cultivation in line with the organization’s strategic direction and regulations.
- Guaranteeing that all supply chain and procurement activities, as well as supplier engagements, adhere to the company’s policies, procedures, and governance standards.
- Pioneering and steering a comprehensive purchase-to-payment cycle, ensuring steadfast compliance.
- Recommending and engaging in pertinent Continuous Improvement programs and projects.
- Supervising expenditure and adherence to budgetary constraints, as well as staying abreast of market trends and cost of goods, which includes routine or special reports.Undertaking additional responsibilities as delegated by the direct supervisor or General Manager
