Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Associate level analyst works within a team to understand customer data and information needs, and provides support through data exploration, interpretation, statistical analysis, report development and visual storytelling.
This position helps develop and deploy world class data analytics at Intermountain Healthcare, one of the nation’s leading health systems.
Using the Scaled Agile Framework, Data Analysts will partner with business and clinical leaders, and data professionals across the organization, supporting our Mission to help people live the healthiest lives possible.
- Helps design the analytics structure and delivery of information for the SCM department. Continually evaluates all sources of data requested for reporting and recommends ways of automating the collation of this information.
- Conducts data analysis in support of a variety of Supply Chain functions including but not limited to key performance metrics, supply cost performance, sourcing and contracting, the procure to pay function, and inventory management.
- Designs and produces scheduled reports, dashboards, reporting to meet Ad Hoc requests, etc.
- Interprets data, analyzes results and provides insight to determine operational impact, trends and/or opportunities for Supply Chain.
- Consults with end-users to review results and opportunities.
- Supports various SCM applications. Assits with training associates in the usage of applications.
Assist with implementation of new IT systems or functionality. Helps support and optimize existing systems used throughout the SCM organization.Designs and/or participates in process improvements initiatives designed to support SCM work teams.
