Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our Supply Chain Operations Systems team in Renton, Washington!
The Supply Chain Analyst work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned. This position will support both factory and supply chain priorities as well.
In this role you will be working with a great team of Supply Chain Management Analysts (SCMA) that purchase raw materials, supplier parts and releasing of production orders for wing products while ensuring adherence to program schedule, organizational compliance with inventory management policies and contractual requirements. This role will also oversee new business activities. The team also develops process and efficiency improvements.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate, Mid-Level and Senior Level Supply Chain Management Analysts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 1+ years of hands on experience with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Materials Management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration, or Accounting preferred, but not required

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Associate (level 2)
Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Mid-Level (level 3)
Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Senior (level 4)
Typically, 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
  • Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain
  • Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers, and customers
  • Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system
  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories
  • Initiates, coordinates, and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability
  • Ensures on-time delivery
  • Optimizes inventory levels
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories
  • Investigates complex ordering conditions
  • Develops and implements new ordering methodologies
  • Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements, and governmental regulations
