Description:
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction, and management for the overall Supply Chain, including Purchasing, Supply Planning, Warehousing, and Logistics
- Maintain a coherent and standardized supply network, focusing on flexibility and scalability to support company growth, and drive supply chain excellence through continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
- Collaborate with various business functions to gain insights into the end-to-end supply chain and make impactful contributions to business operations.
- Manage transportation operations, reviewing and recommending improvements to ensure timely delivery of goods and supplies.
- Contribute to the development of supply chain operational plans aligned with the wider strategy and local business plans, challenging strategies to meet customer and business needs effectively.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policy requirements, driving continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
- Manage the local supply chain budget and monitor budget progress, ensuring activities align with financial targets.
- Work closely with customer-facing teams to understand demand and optimize customer order fulfillment.
- Implement effective sales and operational planning processes and demand and supply planning to meet customer demand and support inventory planning.
- Manage local replenishment and inventory control processes, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Oversee regional warehousing and distribution activities, including the selection and management of third-party distribution partners.
- Implement and promote adoption of supply chain information management systems and processes to plan, review, and report supply chain activity and outcomes.
- Manage and evaluate the performance of the supply chain team, setting objectives and holding team members accountable for achieving goals.
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement by identifying needs, concerns, and issues and conveying information to promote understanding and commitment.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Business Management or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, with comprehensive knowledge of Supply Chain Management.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, and leadership management.
- Proficient in supply chain principles, negotiation, and purchasing techniques.
- Ability to manage complexity and diverse working environments effectively.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement principles and practices and team development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across functional matrix organizations.
- Knowledge of global freight, transportation, and logistics best practices.
- Proficiency in ERP software
