ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Sr. Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and proactive professional with experience in international purchasing management, planning, programming, customer service, logistics operations and supply chain in an international environment. This position requires exceptional communication skills, ability to work in a multicultural environment, fluency in English, and experience in highly complex environments.

REQUIREMENTS:

Professional education: Engineering, LCI, LA or similar.
12 Years of experience in the area of Purchasing and Supply chain, Inventory Planning, Production Scheduling, Customer Service.
100% fluent English (spoken and written)
Demonstrated skills in project management and problem solving in a multicultural and global environment. - Leadership

Responsibilities:

  • Look for alternatives to maintain optimal inventory levels, according to the needs of the Plant and customers. (E&O, low runner review, frozen period review, MOQ, Lead Times).
  • Provide guidance and support to the purchasing team to ensure compliance with the supplier’s delivery times established in the purchase orders (OTD) and generate an action plan for suppliers that do not meet the required metric.
  • Lead interaction meetings with internal and external clients related to Past Due, Delivery, Excesses and Obsolescence, expediting of raw materials, production, scheduling, etc.
  • Hold work meetings with suppliers to improve relationships and clarify situations by responding to suggestions and/or requests. Support to suppliers to interrelate with other departments (quality, engineering, finance).
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and business partners internationally, ensuring effective communication and solid business relationships.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs and minimize risks in the supply chain.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, including Production, Logistics, Central Sourcing and Sales, to ensure the effective integration of all functions related to the supply chain.
  • Monitor inventory and warehouse management, ensuring efficient resource management and optimal product availability.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of supply chain management processes and systems, guaranteeing scalability and adaptability to business needs.
  • Participation and leadership in meetings with corporate in everything relevant to metrics, management, and problem resolution on a global scale.
