Responsibilities:

  • Close monitor of imports processes, constant follow up with Customs broker, Customs agency, eventually law firm and Governmental authorities.
  • Review and request necessary customization of Gates systems to be able to fast respond to the frequent changes observed in local foreign trade regulations.
  • Negotiation with freight forwarders to ensure efficient and effective service in line with global contracts.
  • Follow up of Free Trade Zone and bonded warehouse activities, review and participate in decision on convenience to operate with these facilities, given diverse foreign trade complexities.
  • Supervise all 3PL daily operations and Gates personnel located in DC - receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory reconciliation.
  • Monitor and supervision of customers claims and resolution.
  • Generate alternative operations solutions to reduce cost, lead time or enable business possibilities.
  • Stock planning and control, review and correct deviations (Guarantee with 3PL inventory integrity and accuracy).
  • Management of current suppliers.
  • Work with IT resource in set up definitions related to stock, purchasing and production (kits assembly) functions.
  • Guarantee updated parameters (lead time, cost of goods, MOQ, origin) for correct reordering points.
  • Supervise, prioritize, and take action to achieve target quantities of kits assemblies.
  • Take actions to correct deviations to meet service level targets.
  • Responsible for the monthly SC KPIs for regional consolidation and report to the Corporate (inventory financials, turns, service level per market, forecast accuracy and other requested by the Company or to attend regional demand
