Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery of products. Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry and involvement in project management are highly beneficial for this role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives to optimize inventory levels, minimize costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee transportation, distribution, and warehousing activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance, such as implementing new technologies or streamlining workflows.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Project Management: Lead and participate in cross-functional projects related to supply chain optimization, new product launches, process improvement, and system implementations.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Previous experience with project management, including leading cross-functional teams and implementing process improvements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading teams and driving results.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems, demand planning software, and analytics tools.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCMP) is desirable.
