WHAT SETS YOU APART:

We’re seeking a spirited go-getter with a proven track record of at least 3-5 years of relevant management experience in supply chain management and project management, who thrives on challenges. You would have a thorough working knowledge of relevant legislation, risk and project management, as well as supply chain management principles, to be able to successfully y implement and manage an effective supply chain strategy. In addition, you have an exceptional ability to produce high level management reports with exceptional report skills.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree (BCom) from three-year college or university

• Degree in supply chain management.

  Required experience :

• At least 3-5 years’ relevant management experience in Supply Chain Management.

• Relevant Project management experience.

REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:

• Working knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Working knowledge of Risk management and project management.
• Working knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles.
• Contribute to supply chain strategy in an organisation
• Implement a supply chain strategy
• Elevated level of report writing skills
• Knowledge of fleet management (advantageous).

OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED:

High Level of Language skills: Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
High Numerical skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Exceptional Reasoning and Analytical Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Travel and Licences: Code EB (08) driving license and own transport is required. Local travel will be required in the course of duties.
